A frustrated Villager allegedly attacked a woman who tried to help him with a computer problem.
JAK, 69, who lives on the Historic Side of The Villages, was arrested Saturday afternoon on a charge of domestic battery.
A woman said she had tried to help the Minnesota native with a computer problem, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The two began arguing and K shoved the woman out the door. She threatened to call the police, prompting him to strike her over her left eye. A police officer who responded to the scene noted the woman had “a bruise-like welt visible above her left eye.”
K was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
