WATCH: Crews work to contain Temple Terrace house fire

The Temple Terrace Fire Department worked to contain a house fire for two hours Sunday night.

TTFD responded to a house fire at 5509 Tempe Height Road around 10:10 p.m. and found flames coming from the side of the home.

After searching the home, they confirmed no one was inside and began battling the fire.

With the help of Tampa Fire Rescue, Temple Terrace crews launched an interior fire attack while Tampa Fire Rescue ventilated the roof.

According to TTFD, due to the heavy presence of fire in the attic, the fire was challenging to get out.

The fire was fully contained and out at 12:03 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
