The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Freeport that left one dead on Saturday.
According to authorities, the shooting happened on Piney Point Road in Freeport following a 911 call at around 9:30 p.m.
The shooting was between two parties that knew each other, authorities said.
The Sheriff’s Office is currently working with the State Attorney’s Office to see if there will be any charges pressed.
