A woman was injured after crashing her car into a home in West Park Wednesday evening, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene in the 4300 block of Southwest 31st Drive just before 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found the woman lying next to her vehicle.
The driver told authorities that she intended to put her car in reverse but mistakenly put it into drive, causing the car to crash into a nearby house.
Deputies said the woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No injuries were reported from anyone inside the house.
