A woman is behind bars after she was accused of shooting another woman in Port St. Lucie.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) is currently at SW Acco Road where they had received reports of a domestic violence-related shooting.
The department’s investigation revealed that a woman was shot multiple times by another woman at the residence. The officers didn’t specify what may have led up to the shooting.
The victim is currently in the hospital with life-threatening injuries but is stable. The woman accused of doing the shooting has been arrested, police say.
Police ask that residents avoid the area due to there being a large police presence.
