Woman arrested for killing boyfriend, Bradford County deputies say

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman accused of shooting and killing her live-in boyfriend during an argument.

Bradford County Sheriff’s deputies detained J, 42, in connection with the death of W, 41, on Monday morning.

Authorities responded to a home on Meadows Drive in Starke around 5:30 a.m. after a 911 caller reported that J, the caller’s mother, had killed W, her boyfriend.

When deputies arrived, J said, “It’s me, and we have been fighting for the last days.”

They found W on the bed with a gunshot wound on the right side of his abdomen.

Investigators are working to determine what charges will be filed. This developing story will be updated when more information is learned.
