Following a domestic incident that led to a shooting, police say one of the victims is now dead and the suspect is in critical condition.
The Riviera Beach Police Department said a man and a woman fell victim to a shooting following what is believed to be a domestic incident on Wednesday. According to the spokesperson with RBPD, it was the female who died from her injuries.
Officers responded to a shooting located at 4002 Canopy Lane. Upon arrival, officers came across the two victims, police say.
Police say that the shooting appeared to be an attempted murder and following the shooting, the suspect attempted to commit suicide.
Photos taken at the scene show a large police presence outside of the Thousand Oaks Community.
