EHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A woman is dead after a crash on State Road 82 and Genoa Avenue on Wednesday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan drove onto the grass median and flipped over onto its roof.
A 26-year-old woman was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
FHP stats she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 37-year-old man, who was also not wearing a seatbelt, was critically injured and taken to a local hospital.
The driver of the car at the time of the crash is under investigation.
