A woman has died after she was hit by a vehicle while in Pinellas Park on Sunday.
At 8:10 p.m., the Pinellas Park Police Department responded to a crash in the 11700 block of 66th Street N.
Police said that a black Mercedes SUV was traveling south on 66th Street while a woman was attempting to cross the roadway outside of the crosswalk.
According to authorities, the woman was struck by the SUV and taken to a nearby hospital, where she died due to her injuries.
The driver of the SUV and the passenger were not injured as a result of the crash.
According to officers, speed and impairment are not contributing factors to the crash.
The roadway has since reopened.
