JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Valondia Norris, 43, was found shot to death at an apartment complex in the Arlington area on Monday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police said they received several calls from residents of the apartment complex located on Edenfield Road reporting they had heard gunshots.
When they arrived, police found Norris suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot.
Paramedics responded, but Norris died at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
“At this time we are not sure if this is an isolated incident or not. We are unable to advise if there is any additional threat to the community,” JSO wrote.
