Woman dies after shooting at Maitland apartment complex

A person was found shot at an apartment complex in Maitland on Monday, according to officials.

First responders were called to the Bell Trelago apartments off Maitland Boulevard for a report of an apparent gunshot victim.

Officers confirmed that a 27-year-old woman died from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Officials said there is currently no threat to the community.
