Woman dies from stab wounds at Jacksonville home: JSO

A woman in her mid-50s died from stab wounds Saturday at a residence, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO said at around 3:05 p.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of Peach Drive to help Jacksonville Fire and Rescue address a “medical situation.”

Officials said they found a woman in her mid-50s suffering from stab wounds and JFRD said she died at the scene.

JSO said it is still investigating and has four people detained for questioning. The incident’s classification is still pending.
