Woman dies in two vehicle accident.

According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a 49-year-old woman is dead after a two-vehicle accident in Walton County. It happened on State Road 285 at mile marker 16 on Sunday Feb. 11 just before 6 p.m.

A 70-year-old man was traveling south on State Road 285. Another vehicle, being driven by the woman, was traveling northbound on State Road 285. The man’s vehicle entered the northbound lane. His vehicle hit the woman’s vehicle on the front left side, according to FHP.

The man’s injuries are considered serious. A 16-year-old male was also in the vehicle with the woman at the time of the accident. His injuries are considered minor.
