An 87-year-old woman was killed Tuesday evening in a Taylor County wreck. She was pronounced dead on scene, according to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report.
She was driving westbound on U.S. Highway 98 while another driver was traveling eastbound. According to the report, the woman turned left to go to Roy Deal’s Restaurant when she entered the other driver’s path.
The man in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries, the report said.
FHP does not identify victims of traffic wrecks because of its interpretation of Marsy’s Law, a state constitutional amendment that guarantees privacy rights for crime victims.
