The West Palm Beach Police Department announced Monday a woman has died, weeks after getting hit by a vehicle.
The police department said Rachal Michelle Santamaria, 47, was struck by an SUV on the 2000 block of Okeechobee Boulevard the night of Oct. 5. According to a witness, the SUV that hit the victim did not stop, but took off.
The victim sustained critical injuries and died on Oct. 23 at a St. Mary’s Trauma Center. According to the police department, it has identified a potential suspect vehicle.
Anyone with information in relation to the crash is asked to call the police department at 561-822-1651 or submit information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 1-800-458-8477.
Information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
