A Boca Raton woman fell victim to an armed carjacking, according to the Boca Raton Police Department.
According to the police department, the carjacking happened a little before 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Police say the victim was sitting inside a gray Mercedes 2024 AMG in the driveway of a home on SW 18th Street when she was suddenly approached by a man holding a gun.
The man ordered the woman to get out of the car and then he proceeded to enter the driver’s seat. The man then fled in the Mercedes heading eastbound on SW 18th Street.
The victim was not injured, police say.
The woman described the man as wearing a gray hoodie and sweatpants and possibly between the ages of 20 to 30 years old.
