A woman was hit and killed in a north St. Petersburg crash early Thursday.
The St. Petersburg Police Department said officers were called to 112th Avenue Northeast just before 7 a.m. due to a crash involving a pedestrian.
Police said the woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Bayfront Hospital and later died.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The crash remains under investigation.
