A suspect is being sought after woman was taken to the hospital after she was stabbed in Deerfield Beach Tuesday morning, deputies said.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies received reports of a stabbing near the 3800 block of North Powerline Road.
Once deputies arrived at the scene, they found the woman suffering from a stab wound, and she was taken to the hospital.
She suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Her identity has not been disclosed.
As deputies continued to investigate, they said the stabbing was a domestic incident and were able to find the suspect’s car near the 5700 block of Rock Island Road in Tamarac.
Video at the scene captured deputies climbing up the stairs at an apartment building and yelling for someone to come out with their hands up.
BSO officials said they’re still searching for the man. His identity hasn’t been released but officials said he and the woman know each other.
