According to PSLPD, the crash happened on Monday night near St. Lucie West Boulevard and California Boulevard. At this time, officers are at the scene investigating the crash.

Following the crash, the woman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, and the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.

Police say the intersection of St. Lucie West Boulevard and California Boulevard is currently closed as law enforcement investigates.
