Woman injured in Pasco County shooting: deputies

A woman was hospitalized after a shooting in the Bridle Path Row area, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office announced.

During an investigation, deputies found out that a man shot a woman after an altercation between the two.

Before deputies arrived at the scene, the woman left the home and transported herself to the hospital.

According to PSO, deputies arrived at the home, and after several unsuccessful attempts to get the man out of the house, deputies entered the home, and he was detained.

The man was injured during the altercation with the woman, and after he was arrested, he was transported to the hospital.

PSO continues to investigate the shooting.
