Woman killed after losing control and flipping vehicle

State troopers say a 49-year-old woman from Bell is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Levy County this evening.

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Alt U.S. 27 and County Road 345.

Troopers say the woman lost control of her jeep after it ran into the center median.

The vehicle flipped several times, ejecting her onto the median.
