Woman leads Marion County deputies on high-speed chase, crashes into vehicle

A woman from Virginia faces felony fleeing charges after she led Marion County Sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase.

According to the arrest report, deputies spotted D H, 27, of Winchester, Va., driving 25 miles over the speed limit on Highway 441 near Summerfield.

When deputies tried to initiate a traffic stop, Hall slowed down before suddenly accelerating and veering into a ditch near the Market of Marion.

H drove her jeep out of the ditch and led deputies on a chase into Belleview.

While trying to navigate around vehicles at a red light, H rear-ended another vehicle. The driver suffered minor injuries.

H continued driving, and deputies used a PIT maneuver to bring the vehicle to a stop.

H was booked into the Marion County Jail on the charge of aggravated fleeing with injury or damage. Her bond was set at $5,000.
