A 53-year-old Pensacola woman is seriously injured after a crash in Escambia County on Monday morning involving a log truck.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 8 a.m. on Quintette Road and Highway 95A when an 83-year-old Pensacola man driving a log truck failed to yield the right of way, resulting in a collision with the woman’s SUV.

The SUV overturned and came to rest upside down in the southbound lane, according to FHP.

Troopers say the woman sustained serious injuries, while the truck driver was unharmed.
