A woman was stabbed after deputies say her home was broken into on Sunday morning.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call came in at 5:04 a.m. for a burglary and stabbing in the 5200 block of 24th Avenue Southwest.
CCSO said someone entered the home and stabbed an adult female before running away.
The victim was a trauma alert and had to be airlifted to a hospital by MedFlight.
No arrests have been made at this time.
