A woman was stabbed Saturday morning near the Flagami area, prompting a swift response from Miami police, authorities confirmed.
Officers with the Miami Police Department said they were dispatched just before 9 a.m. to the area of West Flagler Street and Southwest 69th Avenue, where they found the woman with a stab wound to her shoulder.
Police said she was alert and in stable condition. They did not confirm the woman’s age, identity or if she was transported to the hospital.
They said the investigation into what led to the stabbing remains “ongoing.”
No details about a possible suspect were immediately released.
