Police are investigating after a child was injured due to being struck by a car.
It happened along the 2600 block of Northwest 24th Avenue in Miami early Monday evening.
According to Miami police, the child suffered a small laceration.
Miami Fire Rescue responded and took the child to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities did not provide any information surrounding the circumstances that led to the child being hit by the car.
No arrests have been announced.
