One person is dead after a shooting in Sebring on Tuesday night, the Sebring Police Department announced.
Officers announced a large law enforcement presence in the area of Melady Avenue on Tuesday night, around 8:12 p.m.
According to officers, the victim died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rikelmer Adiel Roblero Bartolon, 30, on charges of homicide.
“This is an isolated event, and there is not a threat to the community. Please avoid this area as first responders are on scene investigating,” The Sebring Police Department said in a post on Facebook.
