One person was killed and another was rushed to the hospital following an overnight shooting in Hallandale Beach, police said.
Hallandale Beach Police units responded to the scene of the scene of the incident along the 200 block of Southwest 10th Avenue, early Sunday morning.
Responding officers arrived to discover the victims, one male and one female, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics transported the female victim to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Officials are investigating the area, but said they believe this was an isolated, domestic-related incident.
