A man was killed Tuesday morning when police say he became trapped under a semi-trailer.
It happened at Lineage Logistics on Dignan Street in the Lackawanna area around 9:25 a.m.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded.
According to JSO, the man was performing some type of maintenance under the semi when something caused the trailer to fall, pinning the man underneath it.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and JSO.
The victim has not been identified.
JSO said he was between 30 and 40 years old.
