An individual has been detained after a shooting occurred Thursday afternoon at a condominium complex on Hollywood Beach, police said.
According to the Hollywood Police Department, officers responded to reports of shots fired just after 3:30 p.m. at the Sea Air Towers, located at 3725 South Ocean Dr.
Upon arrival, HPD officers said they found a person who was conscious and suffering from a possible gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital and is listed in stable condition, according to authorities.
Sky 10 flew over the scene where police officers were setting up caution tape and investigating the area.
No other information about the victim, suspect or circumstances leading up to the shooting was immediately released.
