One person is dead following a traffic crash in the city of Fort Pierce on Monday.
In a 7:33 p.m. update from the Fort Pierce Police Department (FFPD), it says all lanes have reopened, but one person died following the deadly wreck.
The intersection of Edwards Road and U.S. Highway 1 was temporarily shut down following a traffic crash involving injuries.
Video taken at the scene showed a white car flipped over, and a red car with severe damage.
Police urged drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid the area and any potential delays.
At this time, the crash is under investigation, police say.
