A house fire early Wednesday near Eatonville left one person in the hospital, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.

Crews responded around 2:30 a.m. to the 800 block of Alfred Drive, the fire department said on social media.

The fire was quickly extinguished, according to the post. Photos shared by the fire department show the charred interior of the home.

One person was taken to AdventHealth Orlando, but the extent of their injuries was not described.

The Maitland Fire Department assisted with the call, according to the post.
