A 17-year-old was shot and killed Saturday in Rockledge, police said.
The fatal shooting was reported in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue, off Fiske Boulevard, southwest of U.S. 1 and State Road 520.
Rockledge police said officers were called to a home and a teen victim was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center and later died.
No other details about the victim, including their name and gender, have not been released.
The shooting, which police said is believed to be isolated, is under investigation.
“Our thoughts are with the juvenile’s family,” police said in a statement.
