2 critically injured in crash on Navy Boulevard in Escambia County

SCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were taken to the hospital in critical condition after a crash in Escambia County early Sunday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Navy Boulevard and State Road 752 at around 2:09 a.m.

Florida Highway Patrol says a Chevy Tahoe was traveling east on Navy Boulevard and failed to negotiate a curve to the left approximately at the intersection with State Road 752.

Troopers say the Tahoe traveled into the shoulder where it struck an electronic crosswalk sign, fencing, and other property before overturning and coming to final rest within the shoulder.
