2 hospitalized after house fire shuts down Merrill Road in Arlington; 6 adults, 3 children displaced

Merrill Road was shut down Wednesday afternoon after a house fire broke out, sending two adults to the hospital, according to the Jacksonville Fire Department.

The pair was transported in non-life-threatening condition.

JFRD said six adults and three children have been displaced.

Merrill Road is closed in both directions as crews continue to fight the fire and investigate the cause.
