At around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, two vehicles collided on Mariner Blvd in Spring Hill, Hernando County Fire Rescue said. Less than 12 hours later, it happened again, on the same street.
The first crash occurred near the intersection with Springwood Road and involved a Dodge Charger and a Chevrolet truck. Crews arrived to find the truck rolled on its side with the occupant stuck in the cab.
First responders stabilized the vehicle and were eventually able to free the driver in a complicated operation that involved removing the top of the vehicle.
HCFR said the three people involved in the crash all refused transport to the hospital.
Later that night, at around 10:30 p.m., another rollover crash occurred on the same street, Mariner Blvd, at the intersection with Tara Street.
One of the vehicles took heavy damage and wound up on the side of the road.
