A 25-year-old Pensacola bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in Escambia County.
It happened between 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of N W Street and W Mallory Street.
FHP says an unknown vehicle was traveling southbound on N W Street when it hit the bicyclist, who was traveling northbound. The vehicle then fled the scene.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at Baptist Hospital.
