A third person has died following a vehicle crash in Largo that claimed the lives of two children on Saturday.

Investigators say the Kia Soul was making a left turn onto Orangeview Drive when it collided with a Dodge Durango heading south on Ridge Road.

A passenger in the vehicle, 58-year-old HR, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

According to the Largo Police Department, the two children who died in the crash were also passengers in the Kia.

The driver of the Dodge Durango, identified as 20-year-old AH, a University of Miami linebacker, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The Largo Police Department reported that neither driver showed any signs of impairment.
