4-vehicle crash slows traffic on Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County

A four-vehicle crash slowed traffic Monday night on an Orange County turnpike near Winter Garden and Ocoee.

A spokesperson with the Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 7:35 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the turnpike north of State Route 408.

The crash involved a semi-truck, Tesla, motorcycle and SUV, and no one was taken by ambulance from the scene.

Traffic cameras showed the SUV smashed behind the semi-truck, which had crashed through the median, leaving three lanes shut on the northbound side.

FHP said the crash remains under investigation.
