A driver is dead after crashing in the HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital parking lot while having a medical emergency.
The crash happened Friday around 7:45 p.m.
According to FHP, a a 61-year-old Fort Walton Beach man was traveling in the parking lot in his pickup truck when he crashed into a truck that was in a legal parking space.
“The driver was having a medical emergency at the time of the crash,’ FHP says in a release. “He was taken into the emergency room, where he didn’t survive.”
