62-year-old motorcyclist killed in Osceola County crash

A St. Cloud motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck on Saturday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened on Holopaw Road and Concord Road around 7:35 p.m.

Troopers said a Mitsubishi Raider pickup truck was driving south on Holopaw Road, approaching Concord Road at the same time a Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling north on Holopaw Road, south of Concord Road.

According to a crash report, the driver of the pickup truck made a left turn to travel east on Concord Road into the direct path of the motorcycle.

As a result, the front of the motorcycle collided with the front right of the pickup truck.

Troopers said the 62-year-old man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as a 65-year-old man from St. Cloud, was not injured and remained on the scene.

Currently there is roadblock on the northbound and southbound lanes of Holopaw Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
