64-year-old man dies after crashing pickup truck into utility pole in Ocala

A 64-year-old man from Tampa is dead after crashing his pickup truck into a utility pole in Ocala Sunday night.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the man was driving east on Northwest 100th Street at around 11 p.m.

The man drove off of the roadway and hit a cable box and a utility pole, causing him to be thrown from his vehicle. Troopers say the man died from his injuries.
