The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that a 77-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries following a collision in West Palm Beach Thursday afternoon.
The man was operating a golf cart and was traveling westbound on 46th Road North and approaching Royal Palm Beach Boulevard.
A 38-year-old man was driving an Acura SUV traveling northbound on Royal Palm Beach Blvd. and approaching the intersection of 46th Road North.
According to the report, the operator of the golf cart failed to stop and went past a stop sign and entered the intersection with Royal Palm Beach Blvd.
The SUV was unable to avoid the golf cart and collided with the left side of the golf cart. The driver of the SUV did not sustain any injuries.
