77-year-old Milton woman seriously in crash into back of trailer

A 77-year-old Milton woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash into the back of a tractor hauling a trailer in Santa Rosa County.

It happened around 1:40 p.m. on Morristown Road south on Nelsontown Road.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a tractor hauling a dump style trailer was stopped preparing to back into a construction site located on the west side of Morristown Road.

During this time, a white Ford SUV driven by the 77-year-old woman collided with the back of the back of the trailer. She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
