Mobile home goes up in flames in Davie; cause of fire under investigation

An investigation was underway after a mobile home in Davie went up in flames Friday morning.

Davie Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to the 11600 block of Southwest 13th Place and found a single-wide mobile home engulfed in heavy flames and smoke.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control.

No one was inside the home at the time and there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Davie Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
