New Thursday night, TV2O is waiting to learn the extent of injuries following a crash on Northwest 39th Avenue in Gainesville.
Alachua County Fire Rescue says multiple people were taken to the hospital.
At least two vehicles were involved in the crash near the intersection of Northwest 39th Avenue and Northwest 34th Street.
Several lanes were blocked in both directions on 39th Avenue.
