A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was involved in a crash Sunday morning.
It happened in the eastbound lanes of State Road 826 at approximately 6:50 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a gray Kia drove into a work zone and struck a parked white Ford truck, which caused the the truck to hit a parked, marked FHP vehicle that had its emergency lights activated.
All lanes were closed just west of Northwest 57th Avenue but have since reopened.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said nobody required hospitalization as a result of the accident and the FHP said no workers were struck.
As such, only minor injuries were reported, the FHP said.
