Overnight house fire in Pensacola; investigation into cause still ongoing

An overnight house fire erupted in Pensacola on Monday.

Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to the fire at 2:48 a.m. on the 1100 block of N. Green Street.

ECFR says the home was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.

ECFR extinguished the fire by 3:50 a.m. Pensacola Fire Department was notified and assisted.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The investigation is ongoing.

According to ECFR, since April 2024, this is the fifth structure fire at this location. ECFR has also responded to several outside fires at this location.

No further details have been released.
