A 58-year-old Pensacola woman is charged with attempted homicide for stabbing a man in the back at an Escambia County motel during an argument, according to an arrest report.
SP was arrested last Friday morning on the charge. She’s being held in jail without bond.
The incident happened late Thursday night at the Relax Inn on Mobile Highway, where P and the man had been living, according to the report.
The report states deputies arrived on scene to find the man in a room bleeding from several stab wounds to the back. Meanwhile, P approached the deputy car and surrendered.
According to the report, P and the man had been drinking throughout the night when they started arguing about P losing her job. The man told deputies the argument eventually escalated to P stabbing him in the back.
The man was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
