All lanes are closed after a multi-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of West Vine Street (U.S. 192) and North Thacker Avenue in Kissimmee.
At 10:56 a.m. on Monday, July 7, the city of Kissimmee Fire Department responded to the scene and found a serious crash involving at least four vehicles and seven people, officials said.
Of the seven individuals evaluated for injuries, five were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
All lanes of West Vine Street at the intersection remain closed due to the severity of the crash and the ongoing investigation.
The Kissimmee Police Department is directing traffic and providing detour instructions to ensure safe travel in the area.
Officials advise drivers to avoid the area if possible in the meantime.
